Should i get the Ebonite Zoom predrilled Bowling Ball?
I have been looking at bowling balls lately i wanted to see if i can afford my own. My price range is 20 to 50 dollars. I know that is not a good price range but i cant help it. I found out about the ebonite zoom predrilled ball and it fit my price range. If any one of u guys have this ball, please tell me if it can hook. Aslo please suggest other bowling balls in this price range.
It definitely won't hook, since
1. it has conventional drilling, which is a lot harder to apply side rotation to.
2. it's plastic, meaning it won't hook unless you put a ridiculous amount of side rotation or throw at a really really low speed.
Even if you can apply rotation with conventional drilling (Chris Warren sometimes uses conventional, I believe, but it's still definitely not recommended) it'll be better to custom drill (fingertip grip) a ball. A basic plastic ball, depending on where you're from (in the US), will cost $40-$100, usually with drilling included if you buy from a pro shop.
